The Cupcake Look
Not to make you guys hungry! But this is the cupcake inspired look of the week:) The top half of this style is in the shape of a cupcake icing swirl. So how exactly is this look achieved? Simple, this is a three strand braid starting at the crown and rotating
around and around in a circular motion while adding hair to one of the three
strands of the braid. The rotating motion is repeated until you have reached the hairline, or in this case with
some pieces in the perimeter which were left down and secured with a coiling
technique.
Prep The Hair:
Our lovely model Samantha actually had a severely bleached Ombre when she came in. In order to work on her hair, we had to bring it back to life with an infusion of nutrients to bring the moisture and shine back. Her prep consisted of a 20 minute NutriFuze treatment. This intensive hydrating system gave her tresses an accelerated shot of powerful vitamins and nutrients including oatmeal, soy and wheat protein.
