Fall Hair Color, Plum & Raspberry Tone

We came across this inventive Multi-Fall hair color on behindthechair.com and just loved it! This rocking dye was created by Kristin Pellegrino, head of Candy Salon in Cherry Hill, NJ. She created a harmonious balance of colors that represent the Fall season with raspberry, grape, tangerine and brown tones. Let's take a look at the formula to achieve this look:



Starting Level: Level 6

Lightening: Goldwell SilkLift Gentle + SilkLift 20-volume
Base: Goldwell Topchic 7kv + 20-volume developer

Accent Formulas:
Formula A: Goldwell Elumen pk
Formula B: Goldwell Elumen vv
Formula C: Goldwell Elumen kk

Process time:
Lightener 30 minutes
All over color 30 minutes

1. Foil vertically around the head from temple to temple, in a horseshoe shape, omitting the part. Create a 1/2 to 1-inch slice from forehead to top of crown.  Lighten three back to back slices with the Silk Lift, omitting one slice.
2. Process, shampoo and condition with Goldwell Elumen Wash and Treat.
3. Dry hair; treat the prelightened sections with Goldwell Elumen Prepare and dry the Prepare into the hair.
4. Foil using the same pattern as in step 1, omitting the part. Apply Formula C to slice 1, Formula A to slice 2, Formula B to slice 3, and the base shade to slice 4.  Continue working in  this pattern around head.
5. Apply the base formula from roots to ends on all remaining hair including the part.
6. Process, shampoo and condition with Goldwell Elumen Wash and Treat.
